Research Associate for KMED
Richard Hoggett is a Research Associate within the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University. He has worked in sustainable energy for 25 years, including 15yrs working on practical projects with local authorities, community groups, NGOs and businesses, as well as within academia working on energy policy, governance and local energy systems. He is particularly interested in the role of people and communities within energy system change; optimising energy systems from the bottom up; and the role of smart local energy systems in achieving net zero. As part of the EnergyREV he is working with Jo Patterson and the wider KMED team to support the knowledge management, engagement and dissemination work for EnergyREV.
