Rebecca Ford

Rebecca is Head of Demand and Flexibility at Regen, leading work at the nexus of technology, policy and human behaviour. By bringing together knowledge about energy system infrastructure, the policies and practices that shape it, and the way people interact with it, her work highlights opportunities for policy and industry to drive a better, fairer and faster energy system transition to net-zero. She specialises in work exploring the role of the demand side in energy system transformation, the emerging opportunities for people to interact with energy systems in new ways, and the policy and practice changes needed to unlock innovation and transition. Alongside her role at Regen she is Chief Strategy Officer at See Change Institute, a US-based research institute that studies and shapes the role of human behaviour in social and environmental change. She was the Research Director of the EnergyREV consortium, working across EnergyREV’s programme of work to manage the research programme, facilitate interdisciplinary engagement across the research team, synthesise findings from work streams, and drive knowledge exchange within and outside of the consortium.
