Sandy Kerr

Dr Sandy Kerr is Associate Professor in Economics at Heriot-Watt University where he is Director of the International Centre of Island Technology at Heriot-Watt’s Orkney Campus. His main research interest are in community benefits from renewable energy systems. He worked with the EnergyREV WP6 team to gather case study evidence to give a better picture of the barriers faced by project teams trying to implement smart local energy systems. This information was used to develop pathways to upscaling demonstrator projects.
