Dimitrios Pappas

Dr Dimitrios Pappas is a Post Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research in the University of Manchester. His research in EnergyREV focuses on the analysis and synthesis of innovative business models that can further promote smart and local energy systems (SLES) in the UK. Dimitrios is creating a taxonomy of business models existing globally, using the triple Business Model Canvas as the appropriate fitting framework. In his other research, Dimitrios explores carbon emissions accounting discrepancies, applies index decomposition analysis methods to the industry to focus on carbon emission factors, and quantifies implications from industrial relocation across countries and regions.
