Iacopo Savelli

Iacopo Savelli is Postdoctoral Researcher in Energy Markets within the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. Currently, he works with Dr Thomas Morstyn on developing new market mechanisms to incentivise the deployment of renewable energy technologies in the UK. This in connection with the EnergyREV WP3.2 "Market Design for Scaling up Local Clean Energy Systems" (EP/S031901/1) led by Dr Morstyn and Prof Hepburn. He holds a BSc in Economics, a MSc in Finance, and a PhD in Engineering. His main research areas include energy economics, smart local energy systems, network investments, and community energy design.
