EnergyREV Co-l for Local Energy System Businesses and Financial Practices
Dr Maria Sharmina is a Lecturer in Energy and Project Management at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research in the University of Manchester. Her main area of expertise is in devising transition scenarios and innovative business models for a low-carbon energy system. Maria is currently leading the work on innovative business models for community energy on the UK Energy Research Centre funded project 'Financing community energy’. As part of the EnergyREV consortium, Maria is working with stakeholders to create a taxonomy of business models existing in the energy sector and to co-design new local energy business models.
